Avid about the body and its capacity for self-healing, I’ve always believed in the power of massage, whether to relax or to prevent disease, to eliminate muscle tension or to relieve pain in order to improve overall quality of life.
Massage therapist since 2005 and lymphotherapist since 2016, I graduated from the Kiné-Concept school in Montreal, where I studied Swedish Kinetic massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, Namikoshi Shiatsu and Californian massage.
Fascinated by the power and the many applications of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), I deepened my knowledge by studying at the Dr. Vodder Akademie, Austria. As the source of the MLD technique, this school teaches the knowledge and the method developed by Dr. Emil Vodder in the 1930s. Internationally renowned, it is recognized for the quality and accuracy of execution. In addition, graduate therapists must undergo a recertification every two years to ensure the quality of the treatments.
In addition to acting on edema and lymphedema, MLD has many beneficial effects on the æsthetic level, in particular: improvement of cellulite, reduction of wrinkles or acne, detoxification of the skin, lifting and anti-aging effects on facial skin.
The Lymph and Scar Taping (Kinesio Tape) can also improve the appearance of scars.
In order to offer complete, effective and quality care, I am constantly improving my knowledge by acquiring new techniques. Through attentive listening and empathy, my primary interest is to meet the needs of my clients, in a calm and caring atmosphere.
